Thanks, Django! Actually, I have a similar reaction to hearing that song - I usually wonder "Where the hell did all THAT come from?" It is completely different than anything else I've ever written, and I'm still surprised by it. It was one of those things when you feel like you are just channeling something, so maybe it's not really mine...

Probably Hank's & Bruce's. The way that song came about is that I wanted the Cossacks to play the Shadows' song Fandango (from their third LP, Dance with the Shadows). My bandmates shut that idea down with maximum prejudice, saying it sounded really stiff and 'British'! So, just to f*@# with them, I decided to write a song like Fandango. That'll learn 'em!
