Permalink Univox U45B amp - SOLD

New Topic

Selling my Univox U45-B amp. Not sure on the exact date, but definitely mid-60s based on the style change that came later in the decade.

Awesome tube amp that sounds great clean at lower levels, but really brings the noise when you crank it up. Pure garage-rock goodness with every guitar I've thrown at it, and the 12" speaker gives it the push and low-end response many smaller amps from this era lack.

I've upgraded it with a grounded 3-prong cord and removed the death cap. Only issue is that the trem doesn't work, which is pretty common for these and is usually solved by switching out a couple caps.

Love the amp and I'm only selling to fund my first amp build, otherwise this wouldn't be going anywhere.

SOLD
