Well we finally got around to recording some original Meteor Men songs and now have three available for listening or purchase.
Surf Canyon
Mescal & Mustangs
Tsunami Wax
We're hoping to get back to the studio soon and record at least 3 more so we'll have enough for an EP. That said, our collective $$$ well has run dry so we're going to have to play a few more gigs and bank some scratch before returning.
We hope you enjoy them.
New songs here
- For those interested we used DiPinto guitars for all three tunes:
Doug - DiPinto Galaxie IV
Alan - DiPinto Mach IV, Takamine Acoustic

I forgot to add that all bandcamp song purchases are "name your price" btw.
It shows $1, but when you go to add you then enter the price you'd like to pay.

Believe it or not we tracked those tunes live...no overdubs other than an acoustic guitar on "Mescal & Mustangs"...I must give a shout out to our drummer who triggers all those sound effects without missing a beat. Doug, I also dropped the Bandcamp minimum price to .50 to get this stuff out there!

I dig it gentleman. it's got some old school vibe to it. I was rocking out noodling lead melodies over the top.

Thanks so much RobC!
Yeah, we definitely strive to capture and project a "vibe" opposed to just relying on virtuosity.
