Hi Friends,
Mel Phantom Surfers here. Time to move this beautiful Showman. 4Ohm, 2-15 cab with JBL D-140s. I Bought this in 2007 from the daughter of the original owner. He was the bass player for the Jolly Green Giants in the Pacific Northwest, contemporaries of the Sonics, Wailers, etc, so this is a really cool amp.
Works great, and LOUD! Real Loud. It is a killer rig for surf. In fact, it is the correct rig for playing surf. Plug in your reverb, and you are off to the races.
A few ciggy burns on top, no rips in the tolex, and the grill cloth on both pieces has aged similarly, which makes sense, as they have been inseperable for 47 years. As I have three other Showmans, this has not left my house since I got it. I played it last weekend , and it cranks. image
$1800. I am in Ventura County So Cal. I am posting here first before I go to other sites to sell it. If you are looking for a Showman, you will be happy with this setup. This is a good price on a vintage Fender Fullerton Amplifier. THey are almost impossible to come by as an original set, and doubly rare w Original cone D-140Fs. Don't miss this.

You can see the amp if you copy the picture's properties from the blocked image box and paste its' address (ends in .jpg) where you type web destinations. It looks simply gorgeous.
