Hahaha. I wish I'd read this old topic before buying The Silly Surfers. http://surfguitar101.com/forums/topic/16645/?page=1#p218085
Fun, but ... silly. Hey, at least it's the original vinyl and plays. The others are great.
But I should've bought some things from our bands instead. Lesson learned!

BOSS DRAG & BOSS DRAG AT THE BEACH finally got a proper CD release with excellent liner notes by the editor of Pipeline magazine. A 4 LP set! Fun Wrecking Crew hot-rod instros that sound like the stuff you hear in the Beach Party Movies. That's cuz it's the same players!
Get it at Amazon... http://www.amazon.com/Boss-Drag-Beach-Doin-Jerk/dp/B00CV920JM/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1377645986&sr=1-1&keywords=T-BONES

What a great CD!
Bon Voyage should be considered one of the best surf songs ever recorded.

Meshugga Beach Party - 20 Songs of the Chosen Surfers
And then really digging this one too. Especially the 2nd and title tracks.

The Mystery Men's Sonos Delirium.
A truly great album that's now in my "3rd wave all-time favorites" Top 3.
(FWIW, the other two are The Space Cossacks' Interstellar Stomp and The Volcanos' Surf Quake)

+1 for The Mystery Men - Sonos Delirium.
These guys have come a long way since we first met up three years ago. They were a good band then. Now they are among the best.

Yep, Mystery Men? - Sonos Delirium.
Love it!
We'll be promoting it on our facebook page tomorrow.
Something we've started doing to introduce bands we know and love to our fans and friends.
This one's a must have.

Here's one I picked up the other day for $20. The cover is in rough shape but the album plays quite cleanly. I think it is an original pressing.

My garage sale finds today included three instrumental albums. You almost NEVER find ANY surf in New Orleans, let alone in the good condition these are in. My first thought was "what the hell?"
