January Birthdays 
I'm still working on the bill for September's "Double Crown On The Rocks" 2-day festival in Bellingham (celebrating Double Crown's 10 years in the biz), but have dates confirmed. It will be:
Friday - September 15th, 2006 - Chirbin's (125 person capacity)
Saturday - September 16th, 2006 - The Nightlight Lounge (350 person capacity)
Watch for announcements in the coming weeks about the lineup. When more of the details have been confirmed I will have a special page for the event at www.dblcrown.com. I know that there will be bands from all over the world on the bill each night, probably 3-4 bands the first night and 4-6 bands the second night. There will be posters and t-shirts available, designed by Johnny Bartlett. There will also be advance ticket sales, so those of you who might be looking to fly in for the event can come with ticket/s in hand. It won't be all-surf (it'll be about 50/50), but the non-surf bands that I have in mind for the bill will be worth making the trip for.
