February Birthdays 
Maybe many of you do not recognize the name JOHN FORD? Well he was a member for a while of one of my fave/rave prog/rock bands, THE STRAWBS.
He did a great set at The Cutting Room in NYC with his band (THE JOHN FORD BAND) on Saturday August 17 2013. Lo and behold, he opened his set with 5 instrumental trad tunes in a row!! And I filmed them all!!
WALK DON'T RUN, APACHE, F.B.I., WONDERFUL LAND, THE SAVAGE (Ivan you would have been flipping out like me, because I had no clue this music was about to be performed; I expected a bunch of STRAWBS stuff!). When he was done he said, "that's enough of THE SHADOWS for tonight, thank you".
I think they did a respectable job. I am rolling in the videos now. so keep watching this space or my YouTube Channel for them to be posted.
The band opened up for IAN LLOYD who some of you might remember as he had a few hits with his band, STORIES.
