It pains me greatly to do this, but due to circumstances beyond my control I am forced to sell my brownface Vibroverb reissue. I am the original owner and purchased this amp in late '95. Currently is has GT6L6CHP power tubes (rated at 7) installed and a mix of NOS/vintage preamp tubes, with the exception of the JJ in V2. Original speakers installed and included, new black cover (the original brown cover disappeared at a show many years ago), no footswitch.
I've put up several pictures on my PhotoBucket site: http://s1011.photobucket.com/albums/af237/urbananick/
If you're interested, PM me. I can answer any questions you might have and would be happy to take more specific/detailed pictures. My local asking price is $800. Depending on the circumstances (pickup or ship, distance, etc.) we might be able to negotiate. I'm sure I don't have to convince anyone here at SG101 that these are wonderful amps for playing surf. I bought it many years ago for that purpose and it has never let me down, however our recent move to Indianapolis has been rough (to say the least) thus I have to let go of my baby.

Sorry to hear about your woes! These ARE great amps. I'm up to my ears in amps and planning on selling a couple myself or I'd consider it. Good luck though with the sale and to things getting better.

Thank you. There was a time when I too had more amps then I could play (oh how I miss those days!). The Vibroverb is actually my only amp now and the one I thought I'd never sell, no matter how tough times got, but life is life.

Nick, I'm really sorry to hear that you're having problems now that you've moved to Indy and that you have to sell your last amp. I bought a Vibroverb last fall, and after getting it fixed up a bit (it need a new OT), I've grown to really love it. It's just an amazing sounding amp, which was driven home for me when I A/B-d it with my '62 Bandmaster running through the same EV-equipped 2x12 Bandmaster cab. The Vibroverb sounded every bit as good, which is pretty incredible. Anyway, best of luck with selling this great amp, and more importantly, getting over your move-related problems. And I hope to see you at the Madeira's next Indy show (looks like it'll be in mid-January).
