That's why I left early, so I could get a whole 5.5 hours of sleep! Woo! I feel so refreshed!!! Guitars Inc set was cool. I really really liked their version of Miserlou at the end. Its such a good song, but its become a bit cliche in our surf-geek society. But when I hear a clever arrangement or different style to it, it reminds me of how great that song is, and I really enjoy it. I saw the first bit of Martin's set. Some insane energy and precision playing! Looking forward to catching a full set (or three) in the next few days I didn't see Surfer Joe's set because I was sleeping. But I did the next best thing: I bought the CD and listened to it on the way home and on the way to work this morning. Holy cow what a great album!!! Do yourself a favor and put "Get Surfer Joe album" on the top of your "to do" list for this weekend! I'm headed to Pasadena tonight to catch The Mystery Men and The Aqualads. Hope to see some of you there! If not, catch you on Saturday |

That's a pretty common reaction to the Dynotones. Their clothes and their music and their attitude just make it all seem so cool!!! I can't wait to see the El Caminos!!!! |

Boarding our plane from Denver to LA in a couple of hours. Hitting The Purple Orchid briefly tonight - then see you all tomorrow. Our first time at the convention. In fact, our first time ever seeing surf music live! You don't get much surf music here in Denver (not since the Astronauts, anyway). Looking forward to an incredible weekend. Tom & Ginny |

Have I mentioned that living in the middle of the USA has some serious downsides. I hope you all have a great time. And take some videos for the rest of us shmucks. |

I'm so close, yet so far.. Had something come up that's keeping me in San Diego this weekend. I hope you all have a blast and hopefully we'll meet down the line. —
