There was a white Fender Jaguar Double neck at Guitar Center in Hollywood that was used on Buddy Dughi's surf album. It had a short octave neck on top. It recently sold and I am wondering if anyone on here bought it and please note, if you decide to ever sell it or want a trade, please contact me. I wish I'd grabbed it, but congrates to whoever got it!

I'd actually forgotten that, but then I'm old. To be fair, he plays a lot better than I can, is on records and has a fan-base. These are things I can only dream of.

Somehow, and I have no idea how, this comment got added to the wrong topic. It has nothing to do with that guitar or anyone on this topic. Sorry for the confusion.

These double-neck guitars are interesting, but I'm not what they really offer musically. Gretsch have a double-neck with standard guitar and baritone necks. Both necks come with a Bigsby. Did Fender ever offer that combination?

Woah! Thats pretty cool. Thats gotta be super heavy though, and akward to play. Check out the jag rhythm plate over the JM pups. Looks weird, but in a cool way!

That would do it then. And I didn't sleep much last night. Totally didn't see the description of the guitar in the photograph!

Range? Double the TONZ?
Don't care what anyone says, Buddy's old double is HOT. I'd love to know the story behind it. Does Buddy have a handle on here?

As I mentioned above, I totally missed the description of the Bass VI Jazzmaster double. THAT is one seriously terrific "do it all" guitar.

Have you tried OSG? Plenty of excellent builders on there who could potentially put together your dream jag.
Also, our own Jeff Senn does some cool work. It's surely worth talking to him, even if only to ask for suggestions. The man knows all!

Mel Bergman (Phantom Surfers) has an awesome double-neck Jaguar / Jazzmaster.
