I know it's a long shot, but I've been after this record for a LONG time and have yet to find a copy for a DECENT price.
The closest I came was, maybe, two years ago and I was out bid at the last minute.
I've acquired my other two holy grails of surf and am looking to round out the trinity.
So if anyone has a copy they're looking to unload for a fair price, not the $100+ that I've been seeing everywhere, or has a lead on a copy, please let me know.
Thanks!

This won't work... http://www.discogs.com/sell/list?release_id=1652460&ev=rb
I've spent $200+ once, totally worth it!

That's the copy that will forever be listed until that guy drops the price.
And I haven't quite reached that level of desperation for this record.
Thanks, though.

Do you suppose there will be ghastly ones cds at the convention ?
I only have target draculon.
This guy at the record show said he had ghastly ones cds, then he could not find them in his piles of cds.
Another vendor at the record show OpenMyndColllectibles, said they had a bunch of OOP Jon & Nightriders cds, like the whiskey live cd, somewhere, in a room at home, underneath a bunch of stuff.
I kept asking her about them every so often. "Nope, didn't look for them yet."
These record show vendors are of the disorganized variety of species.
I bought from discogs a couple months ago, 2 Cocktail preachers cds, "Spy-fi" & "nothing much was happening" from a guy in england. Paid too much, like almost $50 ,but wtf, i wanted them. They were very hard to find.

What the heck?! I bought my vinyl copy over 10 years ago for ~15.00USD. Is it really that rare?

They have a great fan base, of course it is rare!
Out of print vinyl from the 90s-00s is really quite rare and gets priced accordingly in most cases.

Cool, thanks for the info, I wasn't aware of that. Gotta check my other LPs. Bought a lot of stuff in the 90ies (mostly surf).

discogs.com is a great source for looking at prices and releases.

I did! At the time, though, there was one on eBay for $60. I had no idea it would go beyond that.
I promise that if I ever decide to sell it, I will give sg101 first crack and not charge market price. It was Marty's and it belongs in the family.

Josh, if you decide you need to sell it.
I get first dibs. I didn't really want to let
It go. But you seemed to want it reeeeeeeeally badly.

Alas, one of the few records I am still after as well. Would be just as happy if they decided to repress it, think there's any chance of that ever happening?

One of the records I swear to never sell. Got it signed by the guys when I met em at a Sacramento horror convention an it's been framed ever since!

They don't own the rights to that record, which is why we have the Unearthed record.
So that's a negatory.

PS - I'm glad to have made this thread to bring people out of the wood works to talk about their copies that they're not selling.
