This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

They are a fantastic band, that is for sure. But I must be in the minority in having found them less and less interesting as they have moved further away from the techno wizardry.

THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary.

Quick, whistle a tune, act naturally, no one will notice!

Did anyone ever figure out who said "Good artists borrow, great artists steal"?

Hey everyone, I'm a new member. I found this site doing research for myself on everything Messer Chups-related. I dig all the great surf info and interest here. I'm not affiliated with any bands...used to play drums but not so much anymore.
My musical tastes are really all over the place and encompass many different genres, anything that's creative, new (or new-old) and exciting. I'm assuming that all the Messer Chups fanse here are also familiar with Messer Für Frau Müller as well.
I'm a huge music collector so I appreciate some of the tips here to some new bands I'm not yet familiar with.
The only Messer Chups release I don't have is Atomic Bride so if anyone has this or knows of a copy or download I'd be very much appreciate. Trades are also welcome.
Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself...Rock On!

It was Pablo Picasso.

Thanks for the welcome Noel! In case anyone else is listening...another band to check out is Darth Vegas. Like Messer Chups, very diverse, talented, tight and crazy, incorporating many other genres besides surf. Not as B-Movie oriented though.

No, I agree with you. I think Crazy Price is the best album they released. I mean, the following albums are good but there sure is a hype about this band.
