I got a Daphne Blue 50s Stratocaster on a trade that some say looks more Sonic Blue than Daphne. It's light blue, but it is listed as Daphne on Fender's website. It's a 2011 and it's been upgraded with Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups. The neck on the guitar is pretty fat and thick. Plays well and sounds good. $575 shipped CONUS. OBO

Matt,
That is a sharp looking guitar. Well worth a bump.

Thanks Norm! I did change the pickguard back to the original. If anyone is interested, make me an offer!

Thanks Jake! It's a good Strat and will make someone surfiliciously happy!
It's on FleaBay, but I'd rather it go to someone on this forum.

No one? I thought this would generate interest. I'm open for trades and offers. Maybe we could work something out? I'd entertain part trade for Squier JM or Jags, preferably surf green.

I converted my last extra Strat to a Baritone. I have only one guitar I would consider getting rid of because I just don't ever play it. It's a wonderful guitar that sounds better than most comparable guitars I've compared it to.
It's this:

My own sucky picture.

It's totally drop-dead gorgeous in person. The binding and all the plastic is a creamy rose. The hot P90-style pickups in it sound unbelievably terrific.
But I just don't play it. It also has a hard case.

Noel, that's really tempting, but I think it would end up just being eye candy for me too. I REALLY like it, though.

Don't give it another thought, Matt. It is eye candy. But I'm going to give it another try. If it sounds better playing our Beatles songs than the Jaguar, I'll use it for that.
In the meanwhile, I'm also kind of surprised there isn't someone here who'd love that Blue Strat.

Noel, I think that guitar would be perfect for Beatles songs.
ES-335 and similar style guitars have always had an impact on me.

After a slight detour, we now return to the actual guitar for sale or trade.
