Looking to put together a medley or set of outer space theme songs.
The Ventures in Space LP has a few goodies, Telstar, Moondog, Moon Relay by The Vistas, Jet Stream by the Breakers.
Thanks in advance
Greg

"Mariner #4"...on the Ventures "Knock Me Out" 1965 LP..... (It's also done by the Penetrators on the "Locked & Loaded": CD). Also "Countdown" by Buddy Lee & the Satellites (Columbia 45rpm). These are on www.youtube.com Also: "Skylab (Passport to the Future)" a Ventures 45 (& available on "In the Vault's Vol. 1"...an ACE CD). One more: "Visa to the Stars" by Perry & Kingsley (1966) ! Good Luck & Best Wishes (there are more tunes) but these should get you going into "outer space" ! Last edited: Jun 15, 2013 12:26:01 |

Journey To The Stars by The Ventures would qualify. Voyage Around The Moon by Saturn 5 Out of Limits has a sci-fi feel as well. Hope this helps. —Happy Sunsets! Last edited: Jul 03, 2013 17:35:55 |

My favorite 1st wave space surf song is Space Probe by The Chantays, but check out the Space Cossacks version for a more band friendly arrangement. —Danny Snyder Playing keys and guitar with Combo Tezeta Formerly a guitarist in The TomorrowMen and Meshugga Beach Party Latest surf project - Now That's What I Call SURF |

The SG101 Podcast #7 is a great Space surf episode, more than a few great tracks on it. These tracks from The Spotnicks are also fitting additions. —-Damon. |

Check out my youtube cover of Out of Limits with an old 50's space movie trailer as video. Incidentally, need a drummer. Anybody interested? |

I spotted this one about a half hour before noticing this thread. Not all that good though. (The Tony Hatch Orchestra - Out of This World) |

Once I wrote with/for my Kilaueas a Space Surf song called "Space Echoid". Here somebody did a nice video. He titled it wrong "Space Ecnoid": another one I called "Space Module": Twang cheers! Ralf Kilauea |
