Thanks for bumping this, that was an interesting read. I'm curious though, I've heard of "groundwounds", roundwounds that have been shaved to feel more like flats... Anyone use these or have an opinion on them? —IMO. |

there were also strings that were round wound and then flattened by pressure rollers.. dunno if they are still made. 1) i didn't read the article. |
