These guys' originals are amazing. Most of the time have I no idea what those two are playing and at Surf Fest the bass player was a fill-in.
Jeff makes it look so easy that it is disgusting. Listen deep to the originals. Amazing stuff.
Hope we can do a show with them up on their turf.

— Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

Noel, we had a Riot! What a great hang......
Ed, thanks, and that makes a few of us, we don't know what we're playing most of the time either, LOL.
I'll post an original later. I'm actually working today.

Lots of fun. The chicken scratching is a nice, evocative, touch.

Thanks Noel. That's the Instro meets James Brown influence, LOL but it's funny how many people have remarked about that one small component of the song.

It creates this very funny image of shoppers scurrying to and fro through a store, scratching at the merchandise looking for bargains. Perfect! Even if unintended.

Ha Ha , Great imagery.
When this melody came to me I heard 60's, 70's, super market style horns playing the melody.
Blue light special baby!

They did indeed kick some serious ass. A highlight of the fest for me this year.
