Permalink Vintage, '65 Showman head - SOLD..Thanks, Bill!

The majestic, powerful 1965 Fender Showman head, made in Fullerton, CA. Pure, deep, Fender tone, and strong vibrato (no vibrato pedal, but they can be purchased separately). The transformer has been upgraded to a world-class Mercury Magnetics transformer ($185), and so has the choke. Svetlana 6L6 tubes, and good pre-amp tubes, including a Mullard 12AT7 and Phillips 12AX7.

Shows the normal nicks and scrapes of usage through the years, but has not been beat up. No back panel. It has the bottom slide-out brackets, which can be used to attach it to a tilt-back cabinet. New, grounded power cord. The serial number stamped on the chassis is A02988 (1965).

Here's the important part: fantastic, classic Fender Showman sound.
$650 shipped to anywhere in the continental USA. It would be best to email me directly at jragan1@comcast.net

Looks exactly like mine. Big Grin

They're gems, aren't they? I have two, so I'm letting this one go...

Cry I'm so on the wrong side of this planet...nice amp!
