I am happy now to announce the release of the first Surfer Joe solo album, ready by August 1st and for sale starting at the SG101 this summer.

SENOR SURF - Surfer Joe

The album includes 12 tracks, 9 of them previously unreleased.
The record features Lorenzo Surfer Joe on drums and guitars. It is recorded COMPLETELY ANALOG (recording, mixing, mastering) at Circo Perrotti Studio in Gijon, Spain. Produced by Lorenzo Valdambrini and Jorge Explosion for Surfer Joe Music.

The release comes in 12" vinyl and digital download. It is possible a CD production but still not certain.
It will be available in all major underground catalogs worldwide and through Surfer Joe web site.

All I can say for now is that the record sounds INCREDIBLE, unbelievable, no time for mistakes recording on tape, so all very natural and realistic.
I hope you will enjoy it.

edit: i have no idea how to make this smaller or the correct, square dimensions! it took forever just to figure out how to get it on here.

Agreed, dig the artwork too.

We finally finished our new CD, "Don't Feed The Sharks" by Eddie and the Sand Sharks.

We got the name for the CD from a healthcare company corporate gig we did. It was a catered 12 to 7 pm event to reward their employees, who would wander in all day.

When we first went up to the stage to set up our gear, there was a bucket of sand and in it a little wooden sign with a shark bite out of it that said "Don't Feed The Sharks." We took this to mean that we should not get in the food line!

Anyway, the CD is 12 songs, with 10 of them originals. We split the writing duties (album credits notwithstanding), so what came out of that was a quite eclectic group of instrumental songs.

You can find it here:

Guy,

He said Volcanics,
Not Volcanos.

But I would like to see a new release by both.

Allright...the new Mobsmen album is getting closer now.
All material has now been sent to Double Crown for last preparations before things are going to the pressing plant.

We're really excited about it and hope people will like it as well.

As for covers there will be a couple (one Mike Curb/Davie Allen tune+ one 60s Norwegian instrumental which was originally played by a female guitar player).

There's a couple of vocals as well which are both originals. This time around we are three different members who've written material: one by our drummer, three written by our bass player while I've penned seven tunes (both of the vocals for instance).
The style is pretty similar to the last album, but we haver included more keyboards this time (organs and electric piano, no synths).

I expect Sean to announce this pretty soon, but I let this out now as an appetizer...;)

Any chance we'll see this one on vinyl too?

We have a new and pretty fun 7" out. It was co-released by Stencil Trash Records and Dem Bones Records and is limited to 100 copies, with handmade artwork by Nils Trash. I think there's only about 20 copies left. If you want one, just let me know. It's also up on our bandcamp.
