Does anyone happen to have the chords for "Storm Surf" by the Breakaways?
Thanks!

Here's a video lesson for the original Storm Surf by the Surfaris. Just a suggestion too, this should be posted in the Surf Musician section since it's a musician oriented question, that would be the area to attract the right kind of answers. Just a helpful hint. —-Damon. |

Las_Barracudas: I'm in Goldsboro. Damon: Thanks for the tip on where to post something. This is my first post to SG101. Unfortunately, that is different song than the one I'm looking for. Here is a link to the Breakaways song. http://www.amazon.com/Storm-Surf/dp/B0014CWTIE If you haven't heard it you should check it out. —Randall |

ozman83: I used to have the chords for this song in my database (meaning in my head) but it's been a while...I recall the intro is Am ->F->G. I'll pick up the guitar later tonight and see if I still have the rest of it. If I recall, it's not all that tricky, but does require some careful listening. —You're not drunk if you can put your socks on while standing. |

I'm with you Las_Barracudas everytime I listen to the song I keep thinking I'm listening to Mark Knopfler. Thanks Noel! Yes I was able to attend the summit on Friday. My friends and I even won T-Shirts for being the first ones there. —Randall |

I was wrong in my earlier post. The Am F G is the start of verse. I'm trying to dig the rest out of the deep, dark recesses of my brain with Strat in hand. Great idea, BTD! Hey,Craig! —You're not drunk if you can put your socks on while standing. |

Well, this was perfect timing. We had worked out the melody to this one but were having trouble with the chords and were talking about it just yesterday! Thanks! —Ralph Be at one with the universe. If you can't do that, at least be at one with your guitar. |

And now I just realized that our rhythm guitarist is the guy who asked the question in the first place! So maybe it wasn't luck but it was still kindness on Craig's part to answer the question. This is why you should look at every post before you jump into a thread! —Ralph Be at one with the universe. If you can't do that, at least be at one with your guitar.
