1982 G&L SC-1:
One of only 250 SC-1s made, fewer than 100 came with the Dual-Fulcrum Vibrato. Body & Neck both dated November of '82, listed on the G&L registry. Original nitro Fullerton Red finish on the body has developed some of the most gorgeous checking/natural relicing & the edges of the maple neck are starting to wear through from play. This is an INCREDIBLE guitar that is "just right" in pretty much every way. Only non-original part is the ESI replica trem arm (http://electricstringedinstrument.com) & a later style arm socket that Gabe was good enough to sell me. The original socket is included, but uses only a friction fit to hold the arm. The one I'm using now was NOS & part of Gabe's incredible collection of G&L goodness - it has a set screw with a nylon tip to all extra pressure on the arm if desired so you can push the arm in easily AND set whatever tension you like! The pickup SCREAMS. Setup is great. Large dot inlays, cooler early-style Schaller tuners, original case in great shape, etc. . . would be very hard to find a more rare or special example of the early G&L guitars!!!
