imageHi All ,Here is a stand I sculpted and painted for a client, Its not really our demographic but I'm very curious to hear your feedback . Sorry if pic is to big.

I actually like it. Very cool. But I'd like it better if it held the guitar hanging free from its' headstock. Gives me an idea; how about a surfboard guitar hanger-stand.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Thanks Noel ! Spot on w/a long board hanger or a Tiki for that matter. That would have been a lot easier and cheaper to make than this guy ! Have a good one.

Yes, only a little smaller and with a floor stand. That's terrific-looking.

Thanks Danny ! And it is a floor stand Noel , the coil of the snake
'nests' the guitar in place and its hard to see but there is rubber bumpers that protect the finish , I'll post another pic later on of a different veiw with my epiphone hollow body in it . He's looking to have this mass marketed and hopefully made domestically which could be to pricey , but we'll see . Thanks for the feedback guys !

I meant that the surfboard guitar hanger should have a floor stand.

It does!

IMO.

Hey, that's a really cool piece of work! I like the detail in the rattle and fangs. Kind of makes me think of KISS in the 70's. (Lower left of frame.) image

Good way to keep toddlers away from your guitar too. 1,000 times cooler than the surfboard shaped stand, btw.

Twisted Evil > Angel

It is nice work.

What materials is it made from?

I picture a Valeno guitar with the ruby in the headstock on the snake in my head. What is the first image I find of one???image

That is awesome! I love it.

YIKES!! Please crop the mooseknuckle! What was Ace thinking?

Twisted Evil > Angel

The answer to that would have been, whatever Ace was drinking...

Thanks Caddaddy ! It is a 2 part urathane cast into a silicone mould and painted with laqure . The head was sculped in clay , then a wax for final detail and the body was done in a program called Freeform . It then was cut on a CNC machine out a poly board similar to a wood .

Very cool indeed!

Add the forked tongue pick dispenser from the beast's mouth and there you go.
