The site upgrade seemed to go okay.

There are a couple of changes everyone should be aware of.

The chat feature has been temporarily disabled. There is a new version of that software available and I may install that a bit later.

The RSS feeds have improved. Also please note that the forums feed URL has changed. The old one will not work. Please use the feed mentioned on the home page and/or in the footer of each page.

Uploading files to the downloads area is still disabled for now. I still need to do some housecleaning in that area.

There are probably some quirks and issues here and there. If you notice anything just let me know.

Hey just wondering why my IP number is showing...

The new user info block shows you your IP number. Is that a problem?

No, just I just noticed it and thought maybe it was a bug or something.
I dont even know what the number means really.

Hi! I read about the image sizer javascript in the Gibson thread. Why don't you use css max-width?

It doesn't work in IE6, but every 2nd guy is IT specialist, (I hope) nobody uses IE6 here Smile

And an idea: you would wrap the images (with PHP) into a tag with target=_blank what opens the image in the browser (on an other tab), if its larger then the forum post.

original compositions (low-level demo stuff /out of tune, etc) myStuff not my best, but i don't like to be in a musician community without anything to show
