Returning now to the original topic, how many others besides me wish someone would make a production Jaguar like Dave's? I suppose, other than the gorgeous metal-flake paint, the Johnny Marr comes closest. (Is that off-topic?)

For me, the whole spirit of what Dave does is in its "individuality". The beauty is, anyone can have a Jag closer to what he has than what the Custom Shop could do. Order a body from Guitar Mill in the flake color of your choice, score a used Fender or after market neck, and assemble it (or have it assembled). He even shows how on his website.

BTW, Dave this is your best yet!

That may be the ultimate guitar. Best of both worlds. 3 position toggle switch like a Jazz, and volume and tone controls where you won't hit them like a Jag.
