Anybody looking to offload a vintage Riviera or Sheraton? Or a recent John Lee Hooker Sheraton?

Sorry guys, a little bit off, but there are guitar players here, maybe you can help:

I bought an Epiphone an I can't identify it. The previous owner said: He bought it in 1984 (it was new, or used, I don't know) - it's japanese, and he cut the label out, because it was easier / or cheaper when he came through the border. That's all I know

Pictures are here:

Thank you for the answers

original compositions (low-level demo stuff /out of tune, etc) myStuff not my best, but i don't like to be in a musician community without anything to show

Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II. That guitar didn't exist until 1994 though. The guitar doesn't look like an 80s Japanese epiphone. Missing the pickguard, obviously.

Spot on, Jake. A Joe Pass Emperor II. I used to own one.

THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary.

I'm a big Epiphone fan. They've lost the plot from time to time, but have always made cool stuff. Their output in days of old is just amazing.

I'm in love with the emperor regent. Such a big beauty.

My dad used to have a 12 string riviera. Sold it before I gave a thought to guitars at all. I wish he still had it.

IMO.

Hi! Thank you the answers, the pickguard is on my table. Nothing is missing. The price was the price of a new Cort Yorktown, so, it's not a problem for me, it's a good guitar anyway. thanks

that is most likely a korean epi built in the early nineties ... that's when they had the Epiphone logo with the "Gibson" - name on the truss rod cover. 80s epis usually had a "Epiphone by Gibson" inlay on the headstock.

maybe ask the epi - experts on forum.gibson.com ... they know for sure ...

You can lookup Epiphone Serial numbers at this link:

I think some of the Epiphones are quite nice, including some of the 90's / 2000 ones made in Korea.

Hi! Thank you, the serial is missing, that's why I had to ask your help. Smile Thanks for everyone, now, it's identified!
