Well, not a review but a preview of Messer Chups latest creation by way of a radio show special.

If you liked Messer Chups from last years SurferJoe festival then you'll probably dig Church of Reverb. Recorded at the Circo Perrotti Vintage studio in Spain with Dr.Boris (Bisfer)on drums.
Personal favourite, track 11 "Human Jungle"
- Cemetery Beach
- Surf'n Rolla
- Less Playboy More Cowboy
- Mickey Rat
- Zamboanga
- Padre Pizzicato
- Saloon Bloodweiser
- Rockin' Zombie
- Black Saddle
10.Dracula Hates Photoshoots
11.Human Jungle
12.Hula Tikula
13.Harlem Nocturne
14.Popcorno Revenge (Bonus Track)

Wow! This sounds fantastic! Is it possible to buy "Church of Reverb" and download it without having to register for/join Tailplay/Mixcloud or some other streaming service? I just wanna buy the album! Thanks.

The link is a pre-listen only. No official date for the cd release that i can find but usually Double Crown Records does the honours at some point. Hopefully soon:)

A surfriend from Sankt Petersburg (Russia) told me, that Church of Reverb is only available at Messer Chups concerts..
Its the same as with their Bermuda 66 record from 2011.
Church of Reverb was recorded and released in late 2012.

They are a lot of fun and i'm sure Church of Reverb will be availible digitaly on Amazon or where ever sooner or later. By the way, i'm not trying sell this for the band, just loving the melodies and staggering surf guitar tone. Noel, ah hem cough.. you know this band have never (to my knowledge) been interviewed in English.
