I do find this disturbing. Tho a bass version could have been usefull in a previous band I worked with. |

I'm really bothered by it. Musical creativity is being "dumbed down" by stuff like this. There has been so much perfect music made with imperfect technology. Leave it alone! Sorry, off topic. —Either you surf, or you fight. |

I'm surprised that the modesty setting has a high range. Usually it's just low and super low. More generally, for surf obviously "more reverb" would be nice and possibly "expensive gear from" with year settings or a "simulate practice" graded in hours. A box with sliders like "more like Dave Wronski" (Paul Johnson, Ivan Pongracic, etc.) is another obvious one. "Less like ..." (well, that would be mean). A stomp button for "rhythm guitarist" with an associated selector for settings like hire, fire, execute, etc. A drip selector sitting in a puddle. A vocals selector set to off and wedged on that setting. For some "omit saxophone." "Audience delivers ..." with Jim Beam, beer, and PBR settings. Really the possibilities are endless. |

As I might be responsible for the humorous (or not) detour, I'll try to get back on track with this. I have the BOSS FDR-1. It's a decent amp sim pre-amp type of pedal that simulates the Fender DR. I bought it back when I had only a practice amp. But its' reverb and tremolo knobs are impossible to use while playing and the level knob affects them both. I'd like to see a tremolo pedal that lets me conveniently adjust level, depth and frequency while playing. —This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got. That sounds cool Noah, keep us posted. Seems like just an on or off LED would be fine, but I like things simple, no bells or whistles. —http://www.facebook.com/CrazyAcesMusic |

I know simple is easier to use, but wouldn't it be cool to have a tremolo pedal that would at least increase level in a linear way at the push of a foot control until you let it go? —This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got. Last edited: Feb 13, 2013 12:35:19 |

What I think I mean is an expression pedal for the tremolo. —This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got. |

This might be the gizmo you're looking for, Noel; it's a pedal that will turn the knob of another effects pedal back and forth, Electro-Harmonix used to have a similar version of this called the Hotfoot. http://www.musictoyz.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=M&Product_Code=TIP&Attributes=Yes&Quantity=1 --Crispy |

That is sick. I have a difficult enough time clicking on and off in time, so this would certainly up the challenge. I could see the repeat control on the delay being the most handy to me. |

here is my list (not surf specific) -volume boost with two stomp switches..one for increasing the volume with repeated stomps and one for taking it back down. -line of 'studio' pedals...Sun Studios, Stax Studio, Norman Petty, Joe Meek, Wrecking Crew, Motown...I would't be able to resist if a box offered me all the essential tones that were used to make the hits coming out of those places. -looper with a set number of measure presets (2, 4, 6, 8...32 bars) and a dial to set the tempo. Preselect the tempo and number of measures and have it auto-record with the first input signal and immediately play back at the end. This would be great on a small practice amp and doesn't require a foot switch -and speaking of loopers...I'd like one that allow me to program the drum beats...similar to what the Boss RC2 has built in, but I would like to be able to add/mod the beats. -Ventures pedal...similar in concept to the digitech Hendrix pedal, I guess. Fuzz, reverb, tremolo, Mosrite snarl. Last edited: Feb 13, 2013 23:29:08 |

Not really an effect but I'd like to see an expression pedal kind of like a Fender volume/tone pedal that hooks up to a reverb tank to adjust mix and dwell on the fly. So if you decide to turn on an overdrive you can adjust your mix or adjust the drip for solos |

Surf Skater, I believe that the pedal that Crispy posted up above would function the way you want with your reverb tank. —THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary. www.thekbk.com |

Whoops , I had skipped Crispys post. But I,m not sure how that device would work with a tank though |
