Picked this Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster recently because Jazzys are the only Fender I've not spent an appreciable amount of time with. Great guitar as many guys on here will attest, but turns out that no matter how many guitars I try I'm just a Jag and Gretsch guy at heart.
In excellent condition overall. Comes with the trem bar and wrench and a nice gig bag. Only thing to note is a slight scuff on the forearm contour that's too slight to photograph.
SOLD

I'm liking my VM Jazzmaster so far. This one is at a great price. I'd like to know how it compares to vintage models.

That's a crazy great deal. Wish I had a need for it.

Other than paint, fit, finish and electronics, compared to real vintage JMs, they lack the modern "improvements" of the Classic Player and J. Mascis Jazzmasters to the placement of the bridge and tremolo, fingerboard radius and neck pocket angle. I should add that I've seen guitars with these improvements played in live settings and they sound just fine and completely appropriate for surf and instro music.
