Narrowed it down to three. Right now it's just me, but I'll put a band together soon and don't want to change the name (so if something will be singular it has to stay that way, likewise with plural).

IMHO the best of the three is Slacker Overdrive. But I actually think Verbosaurus would be better. —This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got. |

Verbosaurus or Verbosaurus Rex. Both very cool. Wish I'd thought of them Ralph Be at one with the universe. If you can't do that, at least be at one with your guitar. |

Vee Rex? Sorry. I've been listening to a local band's cover of Raw Ramp. Slacker Overdrive is good, but maybe it inadvertently references Slacktone? Are Hula Overdrive and Hula Wads out? Hula Gan(t)s/Ganz? Hula Wax/Wacks? I have no idea what any of these would refer to. Hula is good though. It reminds me of a local surf band that was hired through some confusion in categories to play the opening of a holistic health place where some of the proprietors were into hula. Don't ask me why or how that or this happened. I just remember, "So, don't you know any hula music at all?" Last edited: Jan 30, 2013 10:42:53 |

I was worried about the Slacktone reference, as inadvertent as it was. |

I had a friend who started a band that lasted only two weeks or so and they were called the unstoppable chaos machine... Maybe that could help with inspiration? |

Verbosaurus would sound like a schooled dinosaur to someone unfamiliar w/ the SG101 handle...so Reverbosaurus would be 'more better'. outta the 1sst three i like Hula Slash best.or Hula Overdrive! |

I would get a band together first and ask them what to call it. |
