What's up! HAs anyone seen the Laika and the Cosmonauts documentary titled "Last Day In The Office"? I'm quite perplexed by this as I could hardly find any mention of it, other than it was released 9/2010 according to their Facebook page...

I actually did see it (online) quite a while back and it chronicles their last US tour back in... 2008? (Geeminy has it been that long?) Would appreciate any insight to the status and why it was never promoted publicly. Have any of you seen it?

I stuck out also. I found a link to the embassy that listed it at 58 minutes long and a showing at 12:45 but no other info.

Well, I'm sad to tell You guys here at Surfguitar101, that instrumentalmusic and expecially surf is so marginal music here in Finland, marginal of marginal I might add, that even Laika's are great band, there wasn't too much buzz here when they called it a day and quit. It's a shame in my opinion. It's quit hard to get any good gigs here and people seem to think that guys who play surfmusic are lil' bit weirdos.

ok, well at least I am not the only one in the fog. 
or maybe I am in a deeper one? just searched my messages and last discussed this with Janne only 11 months ago so it wasn't THAT long ago. I can't provide a link unless Janne wants to because it was password protected on vimeo.
As I recall, it is very much a verite, fly-on-the-wall, kind of docu. Boys picking their noses in airports... etc. I remember it contains performance footage from east coast (NY?) and west coast but not purple orchid.
At that time my concern was releasing my LATC footage thereby causing a conflict with their documentary project and I really didn't want to take anything from it. Guess I should revisit that idea.
