Yeah they're pretty good. I wanna see them too but I doubt that they would ever come up here. They seem to have a good fan base down there. David, have you heard "La Resurreccion De Los Sangre Zombies Del Mas Alla"? The first 2 tracks are dope! Pretty good album.

The mention of coming up from Mexico to play in Texas caught onto something I have been concerened with. I was recently charged with helping Los Cartablanca book a short tour so that they can participate in Surf Fest in Douglasville in June. The obvious thing would be to tour up and play in Austin and then head East. But the major concern is that travel through northern Mexico is just not safe for anyone, much less a van full of band members. This leaves flying in as the only safe solution. Any thoughts on this?

Out of print records tend to be more expensive, the record you mention saw the light last year. I really don't know if they re-edited the first album, but I think they haven't.
