I've never been much on teles, but when I saw this at Rondo Music for only $159.95, I had to give it a try... especially since I've been hankering for something with p90s. I have to say, I got a hell of a deal. This is the second guitar I've ordered from Rondo, and they've both been winners. I had this one set up, including a few adjustments and a little nut work, and I'm very pleased with it. It's got a nice clear and full bell-like tone and sounds great on all 3 PU settings. I think it's just a beautiful little guitar and I can't wait to make use of it in conjunction with my Jaguar. I think they'll make beautiful music together.

These Rondo guitars always seem too good to be true. But I have played a few, including the Strat copy with P-90's that Johnny from The Monterreys uses, and have been impressed. Of course, no one would expect to buy a 150 dollar guitar and not have a bit of work out of the box to get it up to speed.

Beautiful! I was talking about the case...  . No it really is a cool tele, very classy. But I do love that thermometer case, I have to get one, they're only like 60 bucks at Rondo.

I threw a clip together. It's rough and simple but it should help give those of you interested a good idea of the general tones of the Douglas Gravity P90. Strings: D'Addario Chromes 11s.
