Permalink Carl Kasper Effects Pedals

New Topic

My good friend, and electronics wizz, Carl Kasper has gotten the effects pedal bug and has sent three prototypes home with me to test out.

The first is a tremolo pedal that has a very wide range, from smooth 60's onboard trem to a very choppy pattern. I am loving it. It even has a built in boost so there is zero volume drop. Even more, when the rate is zeroed it works as a clean boost.

The second is a very tweakable fuzz. It can easily match the Fuzzrite Clone I have, but also go into much harsher and bottom heavy realms.

The third pedal is a very effective boost that really drives my amp.

Lastly, there is a passive volume and tone control pedal. It essentially functions the same as the knobs on your guitar, but the convenience of pedal engagement.

He is doing good work and I hope to get some demo videos up here soon.
