I recently sold a couple of motorcycles and now I'm in the market for a vintage Jaguar or Mosrite in very good to excellent condition. Got one or know of one for sale??? (I'd be interested in a Fender Custom Shop Jaguar if any are out there. I think they may have done some closet classics or mild relics...) thanks |

Ebay or Gbase is going to be your best best. Finding them in Very Good to Excellent condition is going to be hard and it is going to cost you some major cash. Would you want a refin? That would be the cheapest route. Last edited: Dec 08, 2012 10:50:28 |

Thanks Jake, I guess I should have added in my post that I've already been looking on Gbase and EBAY. I figured that SG101ers may want to part with one of theirs if they knew there was a serious buyer, or perhaps could direct me to one at one of their local shops that is not listed on the web. Since I want to buy a nice one I'm a little bit sketched out on buying one through EBAY or Gbase. Maybe I shouldn't be? |

noted to include refins in my search and I did just check out the mosrite forum. On EBAY I found a 66 Jag in great condition but if I go the Jag route, it'll need to be pre-CBS... It would be cool do find something for sale from an SG101er, anyone? thanks... |

Ha! photos when it arrives! (I'll post in the appropriate thread) btw; I chickened out on the Mosrite (due to "playability" factors) and bought a Jazzmaster too. Now I am stoked to own the holy trinity of Fender Surf Guitars, Stratocaster-Jaguar-Jazzmaster. The collection is complete and I'm eager to get out there and gig with them! |
