** not my auction
This popped up on my Google Alert this morning, 8 cool CDs, a few of which are rare, all are desirable. I'd buy it, but I have them all. The Mach IV and PDM CDs have been out of print since 2004. Halibuts, Laika, Madeira, Richie Allen, Surf Coasters - all great. SurfLiners is a little flaccid, but overall a great bunch of CDs.

Yeah, but now someone else can share the wealth. I really hope someone here on SG101 picks up this lot.

I've considered selling my CDs, I just don't play CDs anymore. They are literally in my hot water heater room blocked by a mattress.
That isn't to say I don't listen to the music anymore, I love it and that is why I haven't sold them. Part of me doesn't think it is fair to sell the CDs and to keep them MP3s, that is probably why I haven't sold them yet. I have a pretty great collection, thank to most of you for making the music.
And most of all, it is the memory of tracking this music down. Discovering Cosmonauti, Space Cossacks, Pollo, and Bambi Molesters before I found Cowabunga or SG101 Yahoo Group, that was a labor of love back in that early internet. And same with my earlier MoAM? and Satan's Pilgrims discoveries in 1998 or so.

Well, I have them lossless. I'm not going to write ALACs! Nobody would know what I was talking about. MP3 is like saying Kleenex for any brand of tissue. Digital music is MP3s. I would guess that MP3s are actually now out-numbered by .m4a, just we will probably continue to refer to any digital music as mp3s for quite some time. When I'm talking to my parents I refer to them as mp3s, even when they are FLACs or ALACs.

I blame my parents for that! I actually think it may be a regional thing to call them that, come to think of it.
