I've decided to sell my Fender Jaguar build with a Fender '62-'63 neck. The neck has been refinished a while ago and the date was sanded off by the guy who did it (and no, it wasn't me). However, this is the real deal, clay dots, bone nut. Neck is really solid. Has repro tuners and logo on it. Body is Wildwood guitars, wiring is cloth, pickups are Seymour Duncan vintage Jaguar, American reissue trem and Mustang bridge and other parts. Sounds great and comes with Fender HSC. SOLD. The neck alone is worth it. Contact me via email or PM.
Other things I'm selling because of hard times:
I have quite a few things that I'm looking to sell, and if one thing sells, I'll keep another, so first come, first serve.
First up is a AVRI 1962 Fender Reissue Stratocaster in beautiful Fiesta Red, Klein '61 Pickups and original brown case: $1250
image
Next is a Fender Jaguar, made in USA, Seymour Duncan Pickups, Wildwood aged Nitro body, real 1962 Fender Jaguar neck. Hard case included: SOLD
Beaver Bottoms blond Bandmaster cabinet with Jensens loaded in it. Blond/Gold, BEAUTIFUL! $550
Fender MIM Jazz Bass with chrome and correct knobs for 1962, but not a reissue. GREAT bass: $350
MusicMan 65 112: Better than any Fender Reissue amp. First-year model: SOLD
Weber Tore-Vibe Reverb unit in a Beaver Bottoms cabinet, BETTER than any Fender reissue reverb unit (pictured on stage with the Bandmaster cabinet and the Jaguar)! SOLD
Here are the reverb and the Bandmaster cab:

Pictures of other stuff upon request.

I thought this was you guitar of guitars? Did you find another guitar to your liking, something better? I remember you had the ocean turquoise Jazzmaster. Was that you?

I had the OTM Jazzmaster, yes. While I LOVED the color, I didn't like how it "felt." I have to bond with a guitar, and when I don't, I move it to someone else who can hopefully bond with it. I do really like this Jaguar, but I favor my other guitars over it, so I haven't really bonded with it. I had traded my AVRI Jaguar that I really regret trading, but that's because I played it all the time. This one I don't play much. The neck is awesome on it too, but every guitar has its "feel" to it and this one doesn't match with me. I intend to get another AVRI Jaguar eventually, but not until I move something.

Don't need the guitar, but was wondering if you might part with the blue, stick-on letters?

Oh, and the blue letters are special limited edition Lake Placid Blue Fender approved tone-enhancing stick-ons.
Not really.

I figured you were joking. I was as well. I do like the hollow body Gibsons, but a Les Paul is too heavy and I don't like how the SG looks/feels. I wanted one when I was younger because I saw Brian James playing one with the Damned and thought that the SG was a totally appropriate guitar for that band.
How's the Booker T/Stax thing coming? I always thought you'd be playing that hot Telecaster you have for that.

Self imposed
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Not that anyone needs more reasons to play a certain kind of guitar... but I'd look no further than this to justify an SG.

The Stax thing is great. We do some of that Booker T. sound and some funky stuff like Meters and Lefties Soul Connection covers and, um, what else...a few Art Blakey and Herbie Hancock numbers. I am fighting to keep this more of a Memphis Soul thing but it is fast going in the in the direction of hard bop. All very Hammond based stuff, though.
The Telecaster is fine for this but I wanted a totally different guitar. Something I have never played. Just to get out of old habits and ways. The P90 or (gasp!) mini-humbucker SG looks like it might do the job there.
Another off-topic bump.
