Strat scale length, jag/jazzy body. '90s Chandler stuff is of the highest order. Check the birdseye on the neck. No affiliation, but even as a project guitar to "strip and dip" it would be worth the $700. I assume it will go for around $500. Too bad the bridge pup was replaced with a humbucker. No affiliation just thought someone might want it.

Dunno man. For that money (LESS) just get a real 57 or 62 RI MIM strat.

I've never considered myself a gear snob, but did you just say "real" MIM? We're talking a handmade instrument using the best materials available made in San Francisco CA. I own a few chandlers from the 90s. Trust me. MIM strats are very good for the money, especially used ones. But this is a full on pro level instrument, no mods or upgrades needed. At least it was before someone threw in the blade bucker...
I've played some Jimmie Vaughans, and most of them were keepers for the money. But they never made me feel "Wow! Who needs an AVRI when you can have one of these!"
I have nothing at stake on this, but to those who don't know about chandler, a real MIM isn't the point of comparison.

I'm really liking the look of those Chandlers. The sparkle finish Metro that went looks great too. I'm after one now.
