Some one had a post about "surf-bass" and i think this band is proff on that all instruments should play an importante roll, including the bass. This is so great.

I was in Belgrade last week and was recommended the Adratica in a record store.

Really enjoyed hearing Lull on this weeks RFB.
The tone & vibe of that song in particular as the closer on Adratica always makes me want to immediately go listen to Pelican, particularly the album City of Echoes. (That's a good thing, by the way - I mean it as a compliment!)

I know it's not a big deal, but it's so cool to me personally to see our releases in record shops all over the world. Should be used to it after running the label for 15+ years, but it never gets old. Plus, as record stores go out of business, having shops stock our discs is really something not to take for granted.

I've had this a while and I've enjoyed it. But this CD came on my iPod the other day and it really kicked my ass! It is so heavily Man or Astro-Man? influenced. Warren nailed it early in the thread when he said "it kinda straddles Experiment Zero with the less weird Made From Technetium stuff". It has crisp & tight production, not to mention very tight playing, that dare I say they even outdo MoAM at their own game. They are very, very good at what they do, and if you like the MoAM style, you will really enjoy this album a lot. Great job!

This is a second single from our "Adriatica" CD/LP.
We are planning a trip to US next summer. July/August would be peferct for us to organize a summer tour. We'll probably record our second album by then.

Clip from our last European tour. Weird day in Switzerland!
Promoter left the club and canceled all the shows just few days earlier and didn't told us. It was a long and expensive drive to that country/city. These nice people from a venue across the street had a multicultural party. There were parents with their kids, watching soccer, Euro 2012 championship. After they heard about our situation they asked us to play for them. At the end we played a quiet show for their kids, had nice accommodation and got paid really well. This doesn't happen often
