Yeah, the I'm So Lonesome, that is one of the best things they have done. I was at a gig they did the 100% cover, it was when they were doing the just Sune and Sharin tour. I know I've heard them do other covers... but what were they... |

Been listening to a lot of Raveonettes recently. Observator has truly become my favorite album of theirs. They have just been hitting them out of the park, each of their albums are amazing. When Pretty in Black came out I thought it impossible to top, but they have with their last two albums. Lust, Lust, Lust was a beast of an album in its own right, and In and Out of Control is great stuff as well. An absolute shame they don't get the press they use to. It's been some time since they've been on TV. I think in 20-25 years time they are going to be held in very high regard. In a similar way we look upon some of the 80s British bands today. |

Wow, really good range; I really do like the newer single quite a bit. They do remind me of some of the better bands in the 80's (and to some degree in the early 90's) that did not really get the airtime they deserved. I might have to revisit their older stuff now (and get the new one); my wife might appreciate the change from the usual instrumentals I always play on our commutes. — |

I think I lived under a rock, musically anyway, from 1979 to 2011. One of the great things about the people of SG101 is they keep exposing me to the music I missed. I'd heard of The Raveonettes since joining here, but never sought them out to listen. Live and learn. Every day. Thanks Noah and Jake. Great turn-on. —This is Noel. They have pre-recorded of the drums and bass parts so they can either drop in a bass player or drummer just depending on logistics. They did tour with a bassist this time around. I've seen them with as many as two to five people. |

I am a long-time follower of The Raveonettes. I absolutely love the band, despite the 'hit and miss' nature of their past few albums. I am also a huge fan of Tremolo Beer Gut, expecially during Sune's tenure as guitarist. However, I simply can't find much love for Psyched Up Janis. I suppose the music is very much of its time. It is a 90's post-grunge band, through and through. This just isn't my thing. I didn't care for that sound even during its prime. I will say that I have a spectacular solo rendition of the Psyched Up Janis track 'I Died in my Teens' performed by Sune.
