Proposed Benefit Concert

Posted on Feb 19 2007 08:33 PM Jeff "Stretch" Riedle (ex-Submersians drummer) is going to sell his Surf CD collection to raise money for an upcoming surgery. As much as Jeff has done for the NorCal surf com- munity over the years, I'd like to propose that a benefit concert be staged to help Stretch with his medical costs. What do you guys think? His contribution to the music scene goes back even furture with his work as a DJ at KFJC. If you wanted to find cool albums of any genre (but especially surf), at a great price, you would go see Stretch at Streetlight Records in San Jose. This is in addition to him being one of the nicest guys, genuine guys you could ever meet. If Stretch thinks it's a good idea, I'm all for it too! Top

He gave me very detailed directions to me to his store over a crapy payphone, at a busy intersection. I kept yellin can you say that again???!!!! When I got there. he was happy to see, me, and said I hope the directions were ok. Bob if you need any help in putting together a show. talk to Ferenc or Bill, or now that I did the Marty Party with 8 bands( man it was tough). ask for help if you need it.
