He switched over to the Gibson, which I don't think it sounds as good, because Vox quality went down after '67. I LOVE that you can hear the loose keys on the Jaguar (and any Italian Vox owner knows what I'm talking about!). Interesting that there are no Continental II's or Super Continentals in the mix (then again, the Super I used to own seemed to short out a tonebank every time you looked at it, so maybe there's a good reason for their absence here). I'm such an organ nerd, that I'd like to see this same guy tackle a comparison of all the organs based on the GEM Model P, which includes the Vox Jaguar, Doric, Ekosonic, the Baldwin Howard combo (with its' supremely trashy sound) and the legendary Thomas P-350, otherwise known as a Jaguar in blue drag. Six organs that all share the same basic chassis and circuits, but have enough individual tweaks and adjustments to make one quite distinct from the other. Now That'd be cool. --Crispy Top

Now That'd be cool. --Crispy I have a Super Continental that has never failed once since I've had it, and we've taken it on the road several times, and it's Italian made. I also have a British wooden key continental, it sounds great but the damn B is always going out (looking into changing the oscillator card all together, if I can find one). They're luck of the draw really, like anything else sometimes you get a good one, sometimes you get a dud.
