Anybody have one of these? I sold my Sonoran last year (still not sure why) and now I'm in the market again for an acoustic. The size of this guitar intrigues me. I saw one at the local music store and it looked pretty sweet. Only got a chance to strum it with my fingers so I still need to check it out.

A friend of mine has one of these. I played it once and was very surprised. It´s a very easy playable acoustic guitar as it has a more e-guitar like neck with great action and a smaller body. the preamp and pickup is nice sounding, without amplification the guitar is not as loud as a full size acoustic, but that´s not a real problem. the cat inlays are killer!
if I would need to buy an acoustic it most probably would be a hellcat!
give it a try, you´ll love it!

Thanks for the review. I went ahead and pulled the plug [edit: whoops, I meant trigger] on one of these. For $250, it looks like a really good value.

Well, I received my Hellcat over the weekend. Really nice guitar. Looks beautiful (although truth be told, I could do without the skulls), big sound for a smaller acoustic. But, holy smokes, the action is high. It is almost unplayable below the fifth fret. Hoping it will be absolutely top notch after a good set up.
