Reissue Jazzmaster neck wanted, either Fender (more likely MIJ/CIJ or MIM as AVRI is probably out of my price range). Please let me know what you have.

Still looking..... Doctor Morbius offered me a very nice AVRI neck at a very good price, but it's more than I can afford to spend. |

Sammy, if you're needing a neck pronto, a Strat neck will have the same 25.5" scale and heel contour. If you have an extra lying around you could use it while you're looking for a Jazzy neck. I have an MIM Robert Cray neck on my AVRI Jazzmaster because I don't care for the smaller frets and 7.25" radius of the AVRI neck. Fits like a glove. —Cats 'n' Strats, 'cause that's how I roll - I eat reverb for breakfast! Fenderus Collecticus |

Thanks! I do have a Jazzmaster neck - it's a Squier Sonic Blue VM Jazzmaster, so I have the neck that came with it. It's a 9.5" scale true Jazzmaster neck with rosewood fretboard, but with a skunk stripe and truss rod adjustment at the headstock. I bought it as a project guitar to mod. I am trying to build my own "vintage reissue" for less than the cost of an actual Sonic Blue reissue. I'd like the vintage-correct decal and truss-rod adjustment at the heel, and preferably 7.25" radius (although would consider a MIM 9.5"). If I can find a suitable neck, I'll then sell the Squier neck and hopefully recoup part of the cost of the new neck. Last edited: Aug 01, 2012 09:13:38 |

It would work out quite expensive to go down that route with shipping and customs (I'm in the UK). Plus, I have no expertise when it comes to finishing/applying decals. Really, I just want to find a MIJ/CIJ or MIM Fender Jazzmaster neck. |

Understood. You should be able to find one at some point. |
