Thanks, everyone! We're excited and ready to enjoy ourselves. If we're lucky, the people listening will enjoy themselves, too.

Hi, Ralph. Do you have any vids or recordings of The Storm Surfers that might give us a taste of how the amp sounds? I'm considering it as a solid-state intermediary step (with some appropriate mods) until I can afford a tube amp (salivating over the Texotica Presidio at the moment) and tank. I have an old Fender 85 that predates my surf mania and it is truly awful! Thanks!

Sorry, Ralph. Just realized I replied to the wrong post! You'd contributed to a post (I think!) concerning the Fender Frontman 212R amp. I think you said you're using one. If so, would love to hear how it sounds in the band. If not, just ignore me as I look around for my brain!

Actually, I hope to have some video next week. We're doing a gig at the local community college and they are going to video it for us. The amp sounds very good for a solid state. The J. Mascis jazzmaster is really hot, since I had to roll the tone way back and keep the amp settings low to stop the stone from getting shrill. With my strat, it sounds really nice, though.
I'll let you know when the video goes up.
