Excuse me, you know, and I know. But how will a person, that is new to the site, know about Brian’s intention? And airport is nice – I will check if that is an option on the profile settings! —The Exotic Guitar of Kahuna Kawentzmann You can get the boy out of the Keynes era, but you can’t get the Keynes era out of the boy. @Jonpaul Posting in threads you claim to not be interested in is strange forum behaviour. A crippled call for attention I guess. —The Exotic Guitar of Kahuna Kawentzmann You can get the boy out of the Keynes era, but you can’t get the Keynes era out of the boy. Last edited: Aug 01, 2012 12:13:51 |

OK, it’s been a long time. @Jonpaul I’m glad you take it like that, but it had to be said. Think about it, ok? —The Exotic Guitar of Kahuna Kawentzmann You can get the boy out of the Keynes era, but you can’t get the Keynes era out of the boy. Last edited: Aug 01, 2012 12:20:52 |

Brian, You have my sympathies. What started out as a simple, fun, innocent idea has degraded into what this has become. Very sad. I wouldn't blame you for deleting or at least blocking the entire thread. Can we all please just go back to talking about relevant surf related stuff and keep the personal political stuff to ourselves? It's not what I come here for, and I suspect that's true for a lot, if not most of us. That's all I have to say on the matter. |

Or you could just ignore threads that are of no interest, there are plenty here that are not relevant to surf music. No need to lock a thread if someone still wants to post to it. People can't even agree on which guitar is best for surf so everyone is not going to agree on anything. |

Say, any chance I could post a little picture of an FRV-1 under what passes for my avatar? Or a little icon of a strat? Then people could click on them to put bullet holes in them. With enough bullet holes they would go down in smoke and then be born again. The more times you are shot down, the more points you get. Kind of like a video game. And no I am not trying to bring up religion. Politics is bad enough. Politics, the end of all civilized discourse. I come here to escape it on FB. Here I don't care that you voted for someone different and it's just an interesting fact if you live far away. Mainly I'm just excited that you get the "no vocals + reverb" thing, even if you like vocals and fuzz, too. Remember, I don't care how you voted, and exotic is a plus. I'm thinking about displaying a list of flag icons that our members have picked at the very bottom of the main forums index, where all the statistics are about new members, most members on, etc. Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |
