February Birthdays 
I'm a novice bass player, been playing for about a year, and have had the opportunity to play live a couple of times for friends and family. I'm also in my late 40's, and would like to meet up with other surf enthusiasts in my area who are of comparable age and skill level to me, for jamming, socializing and maybe organizing a surf band.
I play a Gibson SG bass, a Peavey Fury (Precision-style bass) and more modern-sounding Peavey active basses (Cirrus, Grind). I'm kind of a gearhead, too. Have a pretty loud pair of 2x10 cabs and a Peavey amp to drive them.
