The Nocturnes with Jim Frias on sax, back for this one time show. and possibly Danny O'Steen, also an original sax player. Damn, that one still sounds amazing, all these many years later. Personally, I think our (the Cossacks) version doesn't come even close to the original. Rare Surf Vol. 2 I recently picked up Rare Surf 1: PJ & Artie, PJ & the Galaxies, The Journeymen, Rare Surf 2: The Nocturnes, Wheely McSidewalk, Revelaires, Vibrants and Rare Surf 3: Johnny Fortune, Johnny Barakat and the Vestells.
