Spring reverb comparison with Jazzmaster and Mosrite on Youtube

Here's what gets tested in both videos: 1. No reverb 2. Roland JC-120 onboard reverb 3. Boss RV-3 4. Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail 5. DigiTech Digiverb 6. Danelectro Spring King 7. Boss FRV-1 8. I'd have to listen a couple more times to totally evaluate, but after just once through, I'd say the Fender Tank is still king. I tried my Boss RV-3 on his settings and it wasn't drippy at all. Oh and placing the player in front of the speakers isn't exactly smart. I've listened to the videos on headphones and it's hard to hear each pedals characteristics as the sound quality is rather poor. InlandPipeline Joined: Mar 06, 2012 Posts: 16 Greensboro NC	Posted on May 27 2012 09:32 AM I am no expert on reverb like most here, but my personal preferences on this video, leaving the Fender Tank out of it would be top 3 1) Fender FVR-1 2) Danelectro Springking 3) Bluesky I thought the Danelectro was almost equal to the FVR-1 I will never have the time or space for a tank, so any of these would do just fine. I bought a E-H Holy Grail when they first came out as a backup for my tank and have been very happy with it. With careful settings, it comes closer to the real deal than anything else I've tried.
