Okay guys & gals, Im gonna push the envelope. Anybody play this song by the Torquays? Im dying to learn it. so anyone have the tab or know how to figure it out? any recommendations on how to figure it out?

Get Audacity or equivalent software.
Slow the parts down without changing the pitch.
Learn by ear.

Or Best Practice. Free, and works great. It's how I learn all my bass parts.

Well I tried to dowloan Best Preactice and good hot with a virus! Thanks to Nod32 it caught it. I found the direct source but the software didn't work. It was terrible plus apple keeps you lock out of their itunes downloads. Any other ideas?

Hmmmm.......never had a virus issue, although I should have linked you direct. IIRC, a web search comes up with a couple of different links.

Best Practice

They have a troubleshooting section. I'm reasonably happy with it. There are a couple of glitches, but it was free.

Yeah, iTunes is a pain. You have to convert them to mp3 or wav, then they'll load up.

Wow, way cool I found a app that does it really well! It's called RiffMaster Pro. It comes available for Windows, Mac ipad and iphone. I dowmloaded the ipad version and it plays anything in you music library you just load it play it and slide the button to slow it down in the same pitch...YES!

Great song to pick, too, by the way!

with the RiffMaster Pro i've already figured out the first part. it's an A pentonic scale.
