3rd Wave is an all instrumental combo playing in the Richmond, VA area. Repertoire consists of approximately 60 songs: 20% surf standards, the rest mostly rock and pop with a few originals. Loosely modeled after the Ventures. Goal is to play studio quality music live. Generally we play 3-5 times a month in the warmer months and occasionally in the winter.
Requirements: ability to follow arrangements using a chord chart. One small and one large tube amp (2 x 12" minimum for outdoor jobs). totally professional attitude and approach.
