May Birthdays 
The Delstars are doing a 12 year reunion show July 7th in Des Moines (more info will be posted later). Since I've been playing drums and playng with cars the last 12 years,my guitar gear is down to nothing but a reverb tank, a Silvertone 1484(?), and a Teisco. I needed a new guitar for the show. The Squire Classic vibe Strats have been getting great forum reviews, so I thought I'd try one. Bought one used from Guitar Center's online inventory for $225 shipped. It feels and plays like a USA Strat to me. Nice, tinted urethane neck with vintage tuners and a goldleaf "Sqire" decal. Pickups are smooth, but not aggressive, so I swapped in some 10K pickups I had laying around. The sunburst paint job was top notch, but too common of a finish. It got a pro refin (by me) in Firemist Gold with a white pickguard. I love this thing, and I'm ready to ready to gliss like there's no tommorrow. I wanted to post a picture from my computer, but I see I can only do an URL or video. what gives?
I can't play this thing! It's got no whammy bar!
